What to do (and not to do) during taper week
The week leading up to Boogie Day is referred to as the “Taper Week”. During this “Taper week” you can do a number of things that will help make Boogie Day more successful. As of Wednesday, April 25th:
YOU Got This!
- Have only one more workout, before Boogie Day.
- Try and limit your last workout to 40 minutes, maximum.
- Only do Intervals that feel comfortable for you. EZ PACE.
- Do NOT have a workout on Saturday (the day before Boogie Day).
- Do NOT go to the gym, participate in yoga, or do anything strenuous for the remainder of the week.
- Eat healthy (and gentle on your system).
- Hydrate as normal.
- Your pre-Boogie Day meal (Saturday @ dinner) should contain easily digestible foods and not too much! Try to complete your pre-Boogie Day meal by 6pm.
- Boogie Day breakfast - your normal Sunday morning breaky.
